Probably my favourite animal – I once played catch with one at Jersey Zoo… spine tingling
This depicts an injured orangutan showing just how fierce they can be when angered or cornered.
Their habitat is being cruelly devastated by mining and general destruction of his jungle homelands.
The fact that this noble creature could be extinct in my lifetime, certainly in my children’s life time simply appalls me.
