You’ll see that the sofa cracked in the final glazing but, like the young man, remains safe and in-tact. Fate took a hand in this creation for sure. I’m fond of happy endings and hope that after sensitive treatment by professionals (if there are funds left for any more in our ever-dwindling government budget) he went on to live happily ever after!
There are some firing cracks in the rear of the sofa but these are now resolved using kintsugi (gold resin).
