This is a study of the result of heavy impact on the human form. This man has dived into the wrong end of the pool and hit the bottom with a resounding thump. I liked the idea of creating the body in a way one would never normally see see it, unless equipped with a very fast very good underwater camera and a great deal of patience. To be honest, I believe the authorities would take a dim view of hanging around with a camera in the shallow end anyway (quite rightly so!).
This piece was unfortunately damaged while on display (fingers snapped and re-attached) and is no longer for sale
